Dear God, it’s me πΌ Sometimes, I worry about what’s going to happen in the future. Will I be okay? Will I have everything I need? It’s a bit scary not knowing what’s ahead…
Then I remember what you said in Jeremiah 29:11:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God: My precious child, I understand your worries about the future. But remember, I have wonderful plans for you—plans to help you and give you hope. You may not see the whole picture now, but trust that I am guiding you every step of the way.
Think about a puzzle. When you dump all the pieces out of the box, it looks like a big mess. You might not know where to start. But I already see the full picture! If you trust Me and keep putting the pieces together one by one, something beautiful will take shape—just like your future.
You don’t have to know everything right now. You just need to take it one step at a time and trust that I am leading you in the right direction.
Child: So… even if I don’t know what’s going to happen, You do?
God: Exactly! You don’t have to figure everything out on your own because I already have a plan for you. Even when things don’t make sense, I am working everything out for good. Trust in Me, and I will take care of you!
Did You Know? π€
Did you know that bamboo plants stay underground for years before they start growing? π For up to five years or more, nothing seems to happen. But all that time, the roots are spreading deep and strong. Then, suddenly, the bamboo grows up almost 3 feet a day!
Sometimes, it feels like nothing is happening in your life, but God is growing something amazing beneath the surface. At just the right time, everything will come together! π±✨
A Simple Truth to Hold Onto
Whenever I feel unsure about what’s ahead, help me remember this:
You have good plans for me, and I can trust You with my future.
So today, I will let go of my worries and trust that You are leading me to a hopeful and bright future.
Amen.
