Dear God, Do You Really Have My Future Covered? πŸ€”πŸ’

Dear God, it’s me 🌼 Sometimes, I worry about what’s going to happen in the future. Will I be okay? Will I have everything I need? It’s a bit scary not knowing what’s ahead…

Then I remember what you said in Jeremiah 29:11:

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

God: My precious child, I understand your worries about the future. But remember, I have wonderful plans for you—plans to help you and give you hope. You may not see the whole picture now, but trust that I am guiding you every step of the way.

Think about a puzzle. When you dump all the pieces out of the box, it looks like a big mess. You might not know where to start. But I already see the full picture! If you trust Me and keep putting the pieces together one by one, something beautiful will take shape—just like your future.

You don’t have to know everything right now. You just need to take it one step at a time and trust that I am leading you in the right direction.

Child: So… even if I don’t know what’s going to happen, You do?

God: Exactly! You don’t have to figure everything out on your own because I already have a plan for you. Even when things don’t make sense, I am working everything out for good. Trust in Me, and I will take care of you!

Did You Know? πŸ€”

Did you know that bamboo plants stay underground for years before they start growing? πŸŽ‹ For up to five years or more, nothing seems to happen. But all that time, the roots are spreading deep and strong. Then, suddenly, the bamboo grows up almost 3 feet a day!

Sometimes, it feels like nothing is happening in your life, but God is growing something amazing beneath the surface. At just the right time, everything will come together! 🌱✨

A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I feel unsure about what’s ahead, help me remember this:

You have good plans for me, and I can trust You with my future.

So today, I will let go of my worries and trust that You are leading me to a hopeful and bright future.

Amen.

Dear God, Why Do Hard Things Happen to Good People? πŸ¦‹πŸ€

Dear God, it’s me 🌼 Sometimes, I just don’t understand… I see kind and good people facing really tough times. Some get sick, some lose their jobs, and some go through really hard things like accidents or having a sick child or even loosing a pet that they really loved. It doesn’t seem fair. If they are good, shouldn’t good things happen to them?

There is a verse in 1 Peter 1:7 that says:

These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold.

God: I see your heart, My child, and I know you care. You don’t like seeing people you love go through hard things… but tough times don’t mean I’ve left them. I am always with them, just like I am always with you when you go through something very hard or difficult to understand!

Think about gold. Before it shines, it has to go through fire. The fire doesn’t destroy the gold—it makes it purer and stronger. Life’s struggles can be like that too. They don’t come to break you but to shape you into something even stronger.

Or think about a butterfly. It has to struggle to break out of its cocoon. If someone helps too soon, its wings won’t be strong enough to fly. It’s the struggle that prepares it for the world!

And what about a scraped knee? If you just cover it up without cleaning it, it won’t heal properly. Sometimes, healing takes time and even hurts a little, but it’s what makes you whole again and stronger!

So… You don’t let hard things happen to hurt us?

God: That’s right! I don’t cause pain, but I can use it to help people grow, to bring you closer to Me, and to remind you that you are never alone. Never! Even in the hardest moments, I am here… holding you, helping you, and giving you strength to go through this very hard time! Even when it hurts really bad!

Did You Know? πŸ€”

Butterflies struggle to get out of their cocoons. If someone helps them too soon, their wings don’t get strong enough to fly! πŸ¦‹ The hard part is actually what makes them strong enough to soar!

A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I see someone going through something hard, help me remember this:You are with them… and You are making them stronger.

So today, I will trust that even when life feels unfair, You are still working for good.

Amen

Dear God, Can I Mess Up Your Plan for Me? πŸ“

Dear God, it’s me 🌼 God, I’m scared that if I make bad choices or mess up, I might ruin the special plan You have for my life. Is it possible for me to mess up Your plan?

God: That’s a great question… But don’t worry—My plans are bigger and stronger than your mistakes. Of course, I want you to make good choices because they bring good things into your life but even if you mess up, it doesn’t mean My plan is ruined.

Think of Jonah… I asked him to go to Nineveh, but he ran the other way! That was a wrong choice, but did My plan stop? No! I sent a big fish to give him a ‘second chance’ ride back where he needed to be and in the end, he still did what I asked.

Or think about Peter… He made a huge mistake by saying he didn’t know Jesus but Jesus forgave him and still used him in amazing ways! Peter helped build the church and tell so many people about Me because My plan kept going.

I can take anything—even mistakes—and turn them into something good. I never give up on you!

Think of it like a GPS in a car. If you take a wrong turn, does the GPS yell at you and give up? No! It just says: ‘recalculating’ and finds another way to get you to your destination. I do the same thing in your life. If you go off track, I help guide you back. My love for you never changes and nothing you do can make Me stop loving you or give up on the plans I have for you.

Did You Know?

Did you know that when baby sea turtles hatch, they don’t always crawl straight to the ocean? Sometimes, they get turned around by the wind, waves, or even footprints in the sand! But guess what? God gave them a special sense to find their way back to the water—no matter how many times they get off track!

It’s the same with you! Even if you feel lost or make a wrong choice God is always guiding you back to where you need to be! 🐒✨

A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I feel like I’ve messed up too much help me remember this:

God can always lead me back to His plan and He never gives up on me!

So today, I will trust that even if I make a mistake, You are still guiding me.

Amen.

The Archer’s Hands: Learning to Trust the Pullback 🏹

It happened this morning…

I love when He wakes me up like this-before the world stirs, before anyone needs me, before my mind fills with a thousand things to do. Just me and Him… in the quiet… in the stillness.

That’s when I hear Him best. That’s when He speaks, when truth settles deep in my heart.

This morning, He reminded me of something I had heard over the weekend. A simple question…

“How does an arrow get shot out?”

At the time, I nodded, letting the words pass by without really taking them in. But this morning, while talking with Him, He asked me to go back to my notes and it was like entering a portal-everything made sense.

An arrow doesn’t launch itself. It doesn’t rush forward on its own. Before it can move toward its purpose, before it can fly… it must first be pulled back.

Not gently. Not comfortably. Pulled. Stretched. Held.

The Archer grips it firmly, drawing it away from where it seems like it should be going. If an arrow could think, maybe it would panic… maybe it would believe it was moving in the wrong direction… maybe it would fight the pull, thinking it was meant to be free by now.

And suddenly, I saw it so clearly…

That arrow is me.

I have felt this… the pullback, the stretching, the tension. I have wondered why I wasn’t moving forward, why it felt like I was being drawn away from where I thought I was meant to be. I have fought against it… thinking I needed to push through, to figure it out, to move on my own.

But this morning, He whispered to me…

You are still held. Don’t fight the pressure! Do not be afraid! It’s Me! 🀍

The Archer hasn’t let go. He isn’t uncertain. His hands are steady, His aim is sure, His timing is perfect. The pullback is not punishment… the waiting is not wasted… the tension is not neglect.

It is preparation.

I feel it now… the peace in surrender. The rest that comes when I stop resisting and realize I am still in His hands. Nothing hurts… nothing is wasted… nothing is out of place. Is OKAY not to be okay some days…

It’s just the two of us… me and my Archer. He Holds me!

So I choose joy. Not because I know when He will release me… not because I see the target… but because I trust the One who holds me. And I want to stay close to his heart forever! To learn the rhythm of grace, to learn to TRUST the hand that holds me, the One who never misses His mark.

But for now… I am still held.

And that is enough. 🀍🏹

Dear God, What Is My Gift ? 🎁

Dear God, it’s me 🌼 I see people who are really good at things—some can run fast, some can sing, some can draw amazing pictures. I wonder… what is MY gift?

Oh, My child, I have given you special gifts too! Everyone has different talents, but gifts from Me aren’t just about what you can do—they are also about WHO YOU ARE. Some people have the gift of kindness, some have the gift of encouragement, and some have the gift of making others laugh. You have gifts that make the world brighter, and they are already inside you!

But sometimes I feel like I don’t have any special talents.

That’s because you’re still discovering them! Some gifts are easy to see, like playing music or being great at sports. But others grow over time—like the ability to help others, be a good friend, or bring joy wherever you go. I made you on purpose, with a purpose. Your gifts are part of My plan for you!

SO, why did you say this in 1 Peter 4:10:

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.”

My gifts aren’t just for me… they’re meant to help others too???

Yes! I gave you gifts so you can share them, love others, and make the world a little more beautiful.

Did You Know? πŸ€”

Even your SMILE is a gift! When you smile at someone, their brain actually sends HAPPY signals that can brighten their whole day. God made our GIFTS to be shared!

A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I wonder what my gifts are, help me remember this:

God made me on purpose, with a purpose. My gifts are already inside me!

So today, I will pay attention to the little things that make me special and use them to help others.

Amen

Dear God, My Heart Smiles πŸ’›πŸ₯°

Dear God 🌼 it’s me! I WANTED to be happy today and I think I just MADE my heart smile… How did I do that ? πŸ’›πŸ’Š

This is WONDERFUL! You are learning something very important today!

What am I learning ? And… is there something else I can do to be happy all the time? Like, to have joy?? I feel really good when I laugh, and I wish I could smile all day!

To have Joy is different from being happy. Happiness comes and goes—it depends on what’s happening around you. But joy stays because it comes from Me.

So, I can’t always be happy… but I can always have joy?

Exactly! My joy is about knowing I am with you, no matter what. Joy is feeling happy with no special reason, simply because you know I love you, I am with you, and that will never change.

I didn’t always know that. I used to think other people decided if I was happy or sad. If someone was kind, I felt good. If someone was mean, I felt bad. But today, I see it differently. I feel I can choose!

Remember what I told you in Proverbs 17:22 - “A joyful heart is a good medicine πŸ’Š”

So joy is like medicine for my heart?

Yes! When you thank Me, trust Me, and love others, joy grows inside you—like a little light that never goes out.

Wow… so even on bad days, I can still have joy?

Yes! Because I never change, and My love for you never changes.

Did You Know? πŸ€”

JOY is like a SECRET SUPERPOWER for your body! When you laugh or feel happy, your brain sends out tiny “feel-good helpers” that make you stronger, help you fight off sickness, and even heal faster!

A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I forget, help me to remember this: My happiness is not in someone else’s hands—I get to choose it.

So today, I will choose joy, no matter what happens.

Amen.

Dear God, Why Did You Make Me Like This? ❄️

Dear God, it’s me 🌼 Sometimes I wonder… Why did You make me the way I am?

There are days when I wish I looked different or had different talents. Maybe if I were taller, funnier, or better at certain things, life would be easier. But did You really design me on purpose?

Then I remember what You say in Psalm 139:13:

”For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

That means You carefully put me together piece by piece—my laugh, my thoughts, my personality—all on purpose. Nothing about me is a mistake! Even in the Bible, Moses felt like he wasn’t good enough because he wasn’t a great speaker. But You told him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? … Is it not I, the Lord?” (Exodus 4:11).

Moses thought he wasn’t good enough because he wasn’t a great speaker, but You chose him anyway! He didn’t see how he could do something important, but You already knew he could. It turned out, his weakness didn’t stop Your plan—it was part of it! And just like Moses, I might not always understand why I am the way I am, but You do. Even the things I don’t like about myself are part of Your big, amazing plan for my life!

Did You Know?

Every snowflake is made of frozen water, but no two are exactly alike. Out of trillions of snowflakes, each one has its own design—just like you! God loves variety, and that’s why He made YOU one of a kind.A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I feel like I’m not enough, help me to remember this:

You made me exactly how I’m supposed to be, and You don’t make mistakes.

So today, instead of wishing I were different, I will thank You for making me unique.

Amen.

Dear God, Do You Love Me? ❤️‍🩹

Dear God, it’s me 🌼. I have a question… Do You really love me? How can I be sure? I am not okay…

Some days, I feel Your love—like when something good happens, or when I feel safe and happy. But other times, when I make mistakes or feel alone, I wonder… do You still love me then? What if I mess up too much? What if I don’t feel worthy of love?

But then I remember what You say in Romans 8:38-39:

“Nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

That means NOTHING —not my bad days, not my doubts, not even my mistakes—can stop You from loving me. Your love is NOT based on how good I am. It’s based on who You are. And YOU ARE LOVE !

Did You Know?

The sun is about 93 million miles away, but its warmth still reaches us here on Earth. Even on cloudy days, when we can’t see the sun, it’s still there, shining above the clouds. God’s love is like that—always present, even when we don’t feel it.

A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I feel unsure about Your love, help me to remember this:

I am loved, not because of what I do, but because of who You are. ✨

So today, I choose to rest in this truth: Your love never fails, never runs out, and never gives up on me.

Amen.

Dear God, Who Am I? πŸͺͺ

Dear God, It’s Me 🌼Sometimes I wonder… Who am I? Do I really matter?

There are days when I feel small, like I don’t stand out or make a difference. I see others who seem smarter, funnier, or more talented, and I start questioning if You really had a plan when You made me.

But then I remember what You say in Psalm 139:14:

“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

You don’t make mistakes. You made me with intention, purpose, and love. You even know how many hairs are on my head (Luke 12:7)—which means You see every little detail about me, and You care.

Did You Know?

No two people in the world have the same fingerprints—not even identical twins! Out of nearly 8 billion people, You made me completely unique. That means I am not “just another person.” I am one-of-a-kind, and that’s on purpose.

A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I feel small or unseen, help me to remember this:

I am Yours, I am loved, and I am enough.

So today, when I look in the mirror, I won’t just see myself—I’ll see Your MASTERPIECE

Dear God, Should I Pray πŸ™ or We Can Just Talk πŸ“ž?

Dear God, it’s me 🌼 Sometimes I wonder… can I really talk to You? Do You hear me when I talk ? Is talking to You praying?

I talk to my friends, my parents, and my teacher, and they answer me right away. But when I talk to You, I don’t hear a voice talking back. Does that mean You’re not listening? Or am I not doing it right? Can I just talk to You… or I have to learn to pray in a special way??

Then I remember what You say in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17:

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances.”

That means I can talk to You ANYTIME , ANYWHERE , about ANYTHING… SO Even if I don’t hear You with my ears, You ALWAYS hear me? You don’t need fancy words or perfect prayers… You just want me to talk to You like a friend?

Did You Know?

The longest phone call ever recorded lasted 54 hours and 4 minutes! But I can talk to You EVEN LONGER because You never “hang up”! You’re always ready to listen. And I can write you LETTERS!

A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I feel unsure if You hear me, help me to remember this:

I don’t have to hear Your voice to know You’re listening.

So today, I will talk to You, knowing You are always listening, always near, always loving me.

Amen.

Dear God, Are You Really There? ⛅️

Dear God, it’s me 🌼 Sometimes I wonder… Are you really there??

If You’re there, can You prove it? Maybe blink the lights or send a RAINBOW 🌈 ?

I can’t see You like I see my parents, my friends, or my teacher. I don’t hear Your voice the way I hear people talking. But I want to know—are You really listening when I pray?

Then I remember what You say in Jeremiah 29:12:

Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

That means whenever I talk to You—You hear me. Even when I don’t feel anything. Even when I don’t get an answer right away. You are here, and You are listening.

Did You Know?

If you put your hand on your chest, you can feel your heartbeat. You didn’t tell it to beat—it just does. That’s like God’s presence. Even though we can’t see Him, He is always here, giving us life, guiding us, and loving us.

A Simple Truth to Hold Onto

Whenever I feel unsure if You’re there, help me to remember this:

I don’t have to see You to know You are with me. 🌈
